Under the Sea!

Calling all sea lovers!

This January it will be time for another school holiday program and we could not be more excited!

We will be dancing, singing and crafting everything Under the Sea!

These days are perfect for little ones between the ages of 4 and 12 and are a great way to keep your kids busy and moving during the school holidays!

The timeless tale of Cinderella will be bought to life this December at the Perth Concert Hall thanks to the City of Perth. 


Cinderella along with her glass slippers and Fairy God Mother’s magic will transform the Perth Concert Hall into a ball fit for royalty as Youth Ballet WA alongside the Charlesworth Ballet School present a one act telling of the classic tale. 


With all princes and princesses invited be sure to dress to impress as this show is fit for even the youngest of ballet audiences and makes a perfect outing for the whole family right in time for the summer school holidays.


Another amazing school holidays over just like that!

4 days of dance, singing and chat culminating in in the best parent showing yet!

We hope all little monsters had the best time! We can't wait to see you again soon!


In August ,Youth Ballet WA arrived at the State Theatre Centre to perform their annual fundraising Gala, INTEGRATE. 

Mixing genres from classical ballet to hip-hop and everything in between INTEGRATE excited the imagination.

Award winning choreographers and a range of guest performers rounded out the offerings and showcased the power and joy of dance.

Pre-professional dancers presented works from across the dance spectrum, with stunning music and costumes all to raise funds for their continued education.


The Magical Kingdom

We had the most amazing time in the Magical Kingdom dancing, singing and crafting our way through the week! 

We made fire breathing dragons, magic wands and magic mirrors during our arts and craft time. 

On Friday afternoon we invited all the grown-ups to watch as we sung, danced and acted out a scene from Shrek 2!

We cannot wait to do it all over again next school holidays!

Once Upon a Time...
The Swan 

Youth Ballet WA and their special guests landed at the Swan Park Theatre for two wonderful shows on May 13th. 

Once Upon a Time...The Swan Princess took centre stage and told the famous story of Swan Lake in one act. 

Perfect for the whole family this ballet showcased the young talent of YBWA and bought a reimagined classic to life. 

Little People Festival
Floreat Forum!

We had an amazing morning at Floreat Forum on the 15th of April singing and dancing the morning away!

Thanks so much to all our friends and partners who delivered amazing workshops and performances!

We hope everyone had as much fun as we did!

Outer Space
School Holiday Program

What a week we had in April when we went to Outer Space!

With a 1.5m rocket to colour in and days filled with craft, dancing, singing we are not surprised how many smiley faces we saw at our parent showing on the Friday afternoon. 

We cannot wait to see all our friends again next school holidays!

In the Jungle
School Holiday Program

What a week we had in the jungle!

Filled with acting, ballet, contemporary, and musical theatre we became a range of animals and even dressed as parrots for our end of week performance!

On top of all that action we also spent our afternoons getting crafty even turning ourselves into lions!

We cannot wait to do it all over again when we venture into outer space this April!

Clara's Christmas Markets

Running alongside Nutcracker’s Winter Wonderland December 2022 on St George’s Terrace we had Clara’s Christmas Markets!


Proudly supported by the City of Perth the markets will made the city the place to be and a one stop shop for Christmas Fun. 


With free entry and a range of free activities as well as food and market stalls there was something for everyone on St George’s Terrace! 

Nutcracker's Winter Wonderland

The magic of a snowy white Christmas came to St Georges Terrace in 2022! 


Sponsored by the City of Perth, Nutcracker’s Winter Wonderland brought ballet magic back to the stage at the wonderful Perth Concert Hall in this reworking of the classic Christmas tale.


Designed for even the littlest of fans this one act re-telling of the most famous Christmas Ballet followed Clara as she battled evil rats, danced among a flurry of snowflakes and was visited by an array of sweet treats. 


Filled with colour, dazzling costumes, and accompanied by Tchaikovsky’s timeless score this family friendly show was the highlight of of year!

Little People Festival

The rain stopped and the sun started shining just in time for our Little People Festival at Braithwaite Park on November 18!

After a rainy morning the clouds cleared just in time for us to boogie the afternoon away with Charlesworth Ballet, Youth Ballet WA, Schools Go Dance and Kindy Dance Time!

What an incredible time we had at our 3rd Little People Festival!

The sun was shining and flowers were blooming and we had the most amazing time dancing the morning away!


This event was all possible thanks to the City of Stirling's sponsorship and we could not be more thankful!

Returning to Crown Theatre once again for their annual Gala, Youth Ballet WA took to the stage for one night only accompanied by a range of special guests to ignite imaginations, unite ideas, and inspire creativity through dance. 


In an Australian first, professional dancers, coaches and choreographers joined aspiring pre-professional dancers to create a magical night of exquisite performance to ignite passions and imaginations.


Audiences were inspired by enchanting colours, uplifting music, and youthful skill in a show to raise funds for Youth Ballet WA.

School Holiday Programme

What a great time we had getting spooky as Monsters and Zombies these school holidays!

We had some amazing kiddos join us for a week of fun as we got creative with our bodies and our minds

There were so many amazing things to show our parents on Friday afternoon and we know they loved every single minute of it!
